Peddle Hope Incorporated is a faith-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to leveling the playing field for individuals and their families by aligning them with the tools, skills, and support needed to overcome barriers that lead to poverty and stagnation—providing access to education, nutrition, and daily necessities to low-income community members who would otherwise go without.

Our Hope. Your Hope. Peddle Hope.

Our First Garage Sale Fundraiser

Peddle Hope was privileged to have participated in our first Christmas outreach on December 18th, 2023, which we named CHRIST -MUST-CHRISTMAS.

We partnered with Clear Creek ISD’s McKinney-Vento and At-Risk Department

and asked if they would be interested in selecting 10 families who could benefit from our first Christmas outreach. The district agreed.

Then we got busy making it happen.

‍ CHRIST-MUST-CHRISTMAS is one outreach we wish to extend throughout Galveston County ISD’s.

Life Changing Impact

Our Mission

Peddle Hope’s mission is to remove barriers to stagnation and poverty by meeting immediate needs and building long-term stability through educational scholarship and tuition assistance, basic skill training, and mentorship. We envision serving Galveston County and surrounding area residents who face economic hardship by providing a compassionate, comprehensive family-lifestyle support hub. Community-centered services are designed to support the whole family—children, parents, individuals, and seniors—recognizing that stability for one strengthens the whole.

‍ ‍

Our Vision

The Vision of Peddle Hope is to open seats at our table of opportunity with avenues tailored to empower families, community members, and individuals in Galveston County who are economically disadvantaged, at-risk young adults, individuals aging out of foster care, and un-housed community members who have been through comprehensive programs and are ready to take their next step toward employment to obtain stability and a path forward toward independent living.

Providing a transitional solution for education, nutrition, hygiene, and scholarship assistance as family clients work toward sustainable independent living is vital for the better way that awaits!

What We Know.

Parts of the Poverty Cycle

At Its Core.‍ ‍‍ ‍ The Vicious Cycle

Why Invest? Sunny Results!!

Students, community members, and individuals without strong education credentials and marketable skills have limited access to stable, higher-paying jobs, keeping households in a recycled pattern of poverty that’s carried on from generation to generation.

Limited access to education, poor nutrition, and lack of proper hygiene all play a role in keeping students out of school. On top of that, the shortage of decent jobs with fair pay creates a cycle of poverty that’s hard to break. Each issue feeds into the next, slowing down economic progress and hurting the overall well-being of individuals and the community as a whole.

.

When everyday needs such as nutrition and hygiene are met, and basic skills training, mentorship programs, and scholarship assistance are encouraged and made readily available, it can be the catalyst that alters a weary path and changes the trajectory and outlook of one’s life.

P.H.I. would like to collaborate with credit recovery programs, alternative education placement schools, counseling and mentorship programs, summer school, and career/technical education entities to assist individuals who are at-risk or have dropped out of high school; those who are financially disadvantaged; the unhoused; and those aging out of foster care.

Community members who look to their community for kindness, guidance, and support are at the core of Peddle Hopes’ existence.
